Questions about printing

  • What is a "cut"?
    Trim is an area defined beyond the aspect ratio. Trimming prevents undesirable white edges, the so-called "probleskování white" for elements that are printed over the top side. Trimming generally is 2 mm on each edge side. See also our Checklist data preparation .
  • What is CMYK?
    CMYK is a color space that consists of the following colors: Cyan (Cyan), Magenta (Magenta), Yellow (yellow) and Key color (black).
    CMYK color model is thus for four-color printing, in which each color overprints. This way you can display 16.8 million distinct colors. CMYK is used for printing.
  • What color printing?

  • What resolution image needs?
